We use to go to LINK / and they packed it in a styrofoam cooler and we'd check them in as luggage at the airport.

Boudin, tasso, coffee with chicory. If I get to Lafayette, a couple of stuffed porkchops from Veron's.

Cajun Land seasoning
Benoit's Best salt free seasoning
Rex Fish Fry
Pickled Meat
Chisesi Ham
Boudin
Hog Head Cheese
Steen's Cane Syrup
Diet Pineapple Big Shot
Louisians Crawfish Tails
Louisiana Oysters
La Tiera Taco Shells

Southern University, Saints, and Pelicans paraphernalia.

There are other "Louisiana specific" things we like and use, but these are the only things we can't find in Atlanta. (the taco shells aren't a Louisiana product, just can't find them here for some reason)

Usually some boudin and french bread. Maybe some chicory coffee.

It's so easy to order things now and have them shipped up to me that it really isn't a necessity anymore to bring stuff with me when I leave LA. Plus I avoid checking bags like the plague so bringing beers back usually isn't an option.

About 1-2 extra inches on the waistband depending on how long I was there.
