Tell me again how many crystal balls monte rice had to LSU?

Crystal balls are fun to look at and speculate. But outside of a major swing on or around announcement day, they don't mean anything.

I know they don't guarantee anything but you think they don't mean anything? I know when the CB's are pointing to LSU, people expect that player to commit to LSU. I'm sure the other schools expect the same when the CB's are pointing to them. Aren't they predictions from so called recruiting experts on where they expect a player to commit? The only people that really know are the player and maybe his immediate family in most cases and even that can change on a dime.

lot of names but LSU don't look good on any of them.
Allen, Ignot and Phillips are already committed to other teams. Taylor, Gay, Johnston (would you really want to spend a scholly on him anyway?), and Singleton show 0% crystal balls to LSU. Can't even find Chaisson on 247. Levi Jones is the only one that seems remotely feasible with 12% CB's to LSU.

Maybe with just roll with Queen and Rice in this class
Jacob Phillips is currently commmitted to Oklahoma, but he is scheduled to take an OV to LSU in January. He is in play for a flip.

Right now I believe Chaisson is a Texas lean. There even some rumbling that he is already a silent commitment to Texas.

Singleton IMO is following Rashan Gary to Michigan.

Levi Jones = A&M if I had to pick. Supposedly Aranda is not that high on him.

Willie Gay = Not leaving Mississippi. I think he ends up at Miss St.

Thomas Johnston = Could be possible. He is suppose to take an OV to LSU in January. Right now if I had to pick I say he ends up at Iowa. He had a really good game in the Alabama/Mississippi All-star game.

Will Ignot = I think he is also a possible flip candidate to LSU. He is suppose to take an OV to LSU in January. I can really see him flipping.

Tyler Taylor = Don't know too much about him. Have to see if he visits in January.

Markaveis Bryant = He could play the role of Arden Key. Will see if he visits LSU in January. Could be possible addition.

Chris Allen/Dylan Moses = Forget about it.

Where did you hear about Phillips and Ignot making officials to LSU? For some reason I feel like I remember Ignot making one during the season but I might be wrong? Not saying you aren't correct I just hadn't heard that

No one took an OV during the season. They kept all OV for January till a permanent coach could be hired. And I get my info from some people I trust. I will not lie get some from guys at 247. But I also have sources that cover recruiting for a living, and sources that cover college football/NFL for a living. And yes I know how you guys feel about new guys and sources. So I know why some are skeptical.

CB's mean a lot if they're recent. Recruiting is so fluid, I cant trust any CB's from months ago just like I wouldn't read articles from months ago to see what a kid will do in the future.

I'd really like Ignont & Johnston in this class.. good yr for LB's in Alabama, like Monty Rice

Your last sentence explained why the rest of your post, and the assertions about crystal balls are wrong.

Bump.

Appreciate you guys. Would love to get Allen but that's doubtful now. Levi Jones is very interesting. wonder why Aranda isn't high on him

Crystal Ball means NOTHING! Moses is 89% LSU right now. He has signed papers for Bama. Dont get caught up in CB

Wrong

They have a pretty high success rate. You literally have to "know how to read them" instead of being close minded or ignorant.

Reading percentages beside school emblems being DEAD WRONG is close minded or ignorant? Seems pretty clear that the people who are giving their OPINIONS can be wrong.

You can get butthurt all you want, but you're speaking in absolutes, which makes you absolutely wrong. Like it or not, crystal balls have a very high success rate.
Are they perfect? No
Are people wrong? Yes
Doesn't mean they "mean nothing." Just another tool in the inventory

You seem more "butthurt" than i am. Do you do CBs or something to be so passionate about them?

And yes the do mean nothing because the kid picking the school is the only one who knows for sure what will happen.

Another cool thing about Ignont, he was at Monty Rice's announcement. They're friends and from the same area.

Just curious about this, since I have heard nothing lately about Adrian Ealy, the OL from Baton Rouge, who is rated as one of the state's top players by some analysts.

Will he ever get a commitable offer from LSU, or are there enough other unsigned recruits that are needed more? Also, does LSU even need any more OL in this recruiting class?

Excellent post and summary. I think we have a better chance with K'Lavan, and Bryant. From what I see and read, Ignot is slow and we do not want.

247 profile of Chiasson. Even has 12% CB to LSU which seems to be a big deal to you.
