awesome, shared on FB.

Bought dome little toys for Children's hospital. Will look into it more and get more.

There is a tax ID# so I want to use my business CC which isn't linked to my Amazon.

I just want to say that as a peds nurse we GREATLY appreciate toy donations for our patients. Some of the toys will be ones that stay in the playrooms for children to play with over and over. Some will be given to children at Christmas. Some will be stored away and given later to a child that has to spend their birthday in the hospital. Some will be given as prizes to a child for being brave after a painful procedure such as an IV start or lab work.

So please consider donating to the link in the OP or you can also call your local Children's hospital and inquire about donating there. Ask to speak with someone in their child life department and they can tell you what needs they have.

I will say this.....the two age groups that never seem to have enough donations are babies and teenagers. People usually want to donate more "fun" toys and those two age groups get overlooked. But babies need toys to play with to distract them in the hospital. And a teenager still gets scared and sad as well when having to spend a birthday in the hospital.

awesome post
it's easy to buy things for yourself throughout the year, glad that it can be just as easy to buy/contribute for someone else

i think that's the best way to allow people to be more charitable

Thanks for posting.

Just contributed.
I can't stand for children to be neglected.
Especially at Christmas.

Our Mardi Gras krewe used to go by there but had to stop because they became restrictive on what they would allow into the hospital. Thanks for sharing.

Have shared link to local hospital. They have significantly less donations than the New Orleans one. Hopefully we can catch up.

Also, for anyone who has an issue with Amazon specifically, you can choose "Buying this gift elsewhere" and mark down the quantity of the gift you're purchasing and get the necessary shipping information and what not.
