Anyone know circumstances? For those who may not know El Tiempo is a solid Mexican small local chain. The location they moved into has never made it as many different Mexican places. Pretty tough to flop as a Mexican place here.

I even told my wife and friends "if el Tiempo can't make it they need to burn or bulldoze this place and start over. Anyone know how hard they are looking at this fire? I believe it burned around thanksgiving.

Considering its damn near christmas, hopefully they aren't looking and they are actually putting it out.

That new El Tiempo is always packed
Doubt it was a friction fire (bills rubbing against low revenue causing a "fire")

Not arson

The place was packed every time I went in there, I don't think having enough business was the issue.

I go to the original Lupe Tortilla on Grisby all the time. Def my favorite around here. Never tried El Tiempo. I'll do that.

I didn't even notice it burned down until a couple days ago. Sad since it was just renovated.

Fwiw I like La Finca the best.
