kobe was a better shooter, if the games on the line I want kobe taking the final shot. Lebron is the more complete player. With that said lebron is the biggest fig on earth and i hate his guts, he openly supported hillary, he says he wont stay at trump hotels, and he wore the "I cant breath" shirts. He is a walking political billboard and he's a tool for that. Its funny how he shites on trump when his home state was won by trump, talk about an idiot.

You completely buried the lead with all of your political ramblings.

You guys put way too much emphasis on the All NBA and All Defense stuff that writers come up with.

NBA coaches voted on the all defensive teams up until the 2013-2014 season.

Somebody hasn't watched the NBA that long or has a bad memory. Funny how those Bill Russell / Magic Johnson performances get forgotten about.

1993 Jordan is the answer BTW

No

Lebron is the only player in NBA history to lead a playoff series in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks

That playoff series happened to be the NBA finals

The same NBA finals Lebron became the first player to lead a team from down 3-1 to a title

So no, it isn't even debatable that last year was the best finals performance ever

That speaks to how the other team didn't show up.

Please educate yourself and do a little research on the history of NBA finals performances. You sound like ESPN / media who seem to always become a prisoner of the moment.

Google, who led the 2016 NBA finals in points? Lebron

Google, who led the 2016 NBA finals in rebounds? Lebron

Google, who led the 2016 NBA finals in assists? Lebron

Google, who led the 2016 NBA finals in steals? Lebron

Google, who led the 2016 NBA finals in blocks? Lebron

Google, has that ever been done before? No, never done in any playoff series at all before

Google, which NBA finals team faced the largest ever series deficit? The 2016 Cavs led by Lebron

Does that apply for Jordan in 1993 and Magic in 1980 or are we moving the goalposts again to make sure LeBron can never be the best at anything?

Cavs were down 3-1 against a 73 win team and had to win twice on the road to win the title. LeBron was fricking incredible in the last three games of that series and anyone who says otherwise is a damn moron.

It had nothing to do with Golden State not showing up and everything to do with LeBron going to another level that they couldn't match.

Kobe has worse playoff and finals stats than LeBron does.

Shaq in 2000 and 2001 had a higher game score than Jordan in 1993. Magic in 1987 had a higher game score than LeBron in 2016 (26.5), but that was also when both teams averaged over 111 points so the stats were a bit skewed.

So going back about 35 years, you can argue Jordan and Shaq had more dominating performances and Magic had a performance that was similar.

It's really hard to compare Russell to any of those performances though since it was such a different game.

There is no defensive statistic that can support that though.

By a HUGE margin. It's not even close.

Also, the series he led all players in all categories happened to be a 7 game series. Never been done before, not even in a series that lasted 3 or 4 games (obviously the less games, the easier to do).

And he did that plus a 3-1 comeback in the finals, to beat a 73 win team.

He had the greatest individual finals performance ever, to coincide the greatest comeback ever, and beat a team better than anyone in NBA history has beaten in a series.

Sad thing is some people will still try to discredit it because Green missed a game and Kyrie made a three
