Name the football recruits who brought the most attention to this board/TD in its existence. Whether LSU signed and we had nana overload or we missed and melted to the ground.

I'll start

Ryan Perrilloux.
5* QB East St. John
Verbally committed to Texas
Signed with LSU on signing day.
This board was full of threads constantly forever it seemed like and the excitement when he signed was epic.

The late Joe McKnight and the meltdown that ensued.

Landon Collins and his momma.

Leonard Fournette to Texas.

Five for Five.

Tre White vs. Noel Ellis.

Gunner Kiel's lack of chest.

not a single recruit but "5 for 5"

McKnight stung hard and I know I personally melted. I was still on a paid site at the time so not sure how bad the melt was here.

Can't say for this board, but was at the recruiting bash when McKnight spurned LSU. It was a meltdown at the recruiting bash. Grown men crying in the corner in a fetal position. It sucked the air out of the entire bash.

the simple fact that this board was created when Russell Shepard committed due to the amount of threads on tRant means that he qualifies for this thread

Not all but these stick out in my head...

The entire morning of signing day in 2007 with McKnight choosing USC in the afternoon.

Zach Lee signing 52 minutes before the MLB deadline in 2010.

Landon Collins picking Bama during the 2012 Under Armour All-American game.

The 48 hours leading up to the #5for5. Many many many people cancelled their football recruiting subscriptions that day and rightfully so.

What was the board like before Rueben Randle committed? Was he a lock?

#5for5 was a pretty epic melt, and so was the day Gunner Keil left us at the alter, and turned up for class at Notre Dame.

RP signing was a huge feather in Les's white hat early on. Unfortunate how it ended up.

McKnight and RP definitely drew the most hits.

Jacob Hester on the low drew a lot of hits

I think it's gotta be 5 for 5 just bc of the increased traffic to the site generally then bs some of the earlier shitstorms

5for5 and it isn't close. That's what made me quit posting on TD for a couple years. It just cut me too deep. Thank God almighty that we got LF and Jamal Adams though.

Edit: Was Jamal part of the 5for5? I can't remember. I know it was Speedy, LF, Gerald Willis, Tony Brown, and... Jamal? If so, we got the the two best for sure.

What about Chris Davenport? Much traffic on him?
