Both are December staples for my family.
Which one is the better movie? I give a slight edge to CV, but it's close.

Scrooged is a good one, but there have been plenty of Christmas seasons that I've failed to watch it.
I typically watch Christmas Vacation at least twice every year. It's a tradition for us to watch it on Thanksgiving night to kick off the season.

I like Bill Murray too much and dislike Chevy Chase too much to pick Christmas Vacation over Scrooged, although I do enjoy Christmas Vacation.
