Neutral field of course and lets say roughly equal travelling distance. You don't have to subtract 4 teams that will make the playoffs.

This is a great question. Wouldn't it really stir the pot if this was a criteria for the playoff selection committee?

Um

Florida, Wisconsin, Bama just to name a few. Pretty much the teams ranked ahead of us except the sorry conference ones.

According to a Vegas tweet I saw yesterday, only Ohio State and Alabama are guarantee favorites over LSU

Not many. Outside of the playoff 4 I don't see anyone who would be favored to beat lsu. I hope to God we get matched up with florida state somehow so we can piledrive their frickin asses in the Bowl game. Them or wisconsin...we would murder wisconsin if we played then again. But wisconsin will most likely be in a ny6 bowl. Florida state has 3 losses so we could relistically get matched up with them.

Not many, but if Vegas had correctly called each game correct: LSU would be 10-1.

This is the correct answer. Forget the "eye test", forget records, forget previous head to head....listen to the one thing that dominates society.....money. And Vegas didn't build all of those huge buildings in the desert by being wrong.

It doesn't matter who is favored; it matters who wins.

What makes you think LSU would murder Wisconsin if they played again? Have you not seen what happens when LSU plays a legitimate defense ?

Because our defense has improved so much that I don't think wisconsin would score more than 7 points on us. That along with etling and our offense gaining steam throughout the year as they have looks good for lsu. We should have beaten the with fricking brandon Harris under center and all of his screw ups. Our offense is way more dangerous right now. LSU would beat wisconsin by at least 10 points if we played again. Obviously it's just my opinion but we have improved drastically on both sides of the ball since our first game of the year. Not even taking into account that we fired miles/cameron and have a competent coaching staff now.

Today

Bama
Clemson
Ohio State
Washington
Michigan maybe (might be a pick em)

Wisconsin would be an interesting line. I bet it would be LSU -3

What makes you think wisconsin would be able to stop lsu if we played them again? Especially now that we know what they're all about. This is a totally different team than wisconsin faced the first game of the year. There's no way that lsu wouldn't have beaten wisconsin by at leat 10 points if this lsu team played them in lambeau in september...absolutely no way. We have so much more talent than wisconsin that it isn't even funny...the difference is that now we utilize all of our talent instead of relying on fournette and having no backup threat when he is slowed down.
