Well spray painting a federal building is vandalism and a crime. If you spray painted that on a banner and hung it on your own property, that would not be a crime. If you burn your own flag on your own land, it's not a crime. If you burn someone else's flag, it's vandalism or conversion and a crime.

Who burns the American flag, but solely those who hate America and what it stands for. It's the same with our enemies overseas as it is with our enemies here. That is the common denominator...hatred for what America stands for.
There's only one way I think we should make flag burning illegal. If you have to cover your face to burn the flag, you should be arrested. I want to see your face and think America deserves to see it as well.

Look at his timeline on twitter. This is no doubt directly aimed at CNN. If they say anything, he can just point directly at that 2005 law proposed by Hillary Clinton and call them out on their hypocrisy.

His position isn't that absurd. Plenty of reasonable people think flag burning should cease to be protected speech.
But I agree his twitter outbursts are ridiculous. Even if he's trolling, I just can't see what this is accomplishing other than keeping the 25% of the country in his fan club entertained.

It's just a piece of cloth. I find the callous disconnect to our founding principles and Constitution much more offensive. All I think is that those who burn it need to show their face. I want to see what people who hate America look like. Don't hide. Be proud I say.
