Seriously?

Why not take citizenship away from really bad people like murderer's and rapists instead of some idiot college kid in over his head at Missouri?

If you don't burn flags you need not worry yourself with it.

Idiotic. I'll never get why people are willing to just hand their rights away when patriotism is involved.

Well that would be stealing.

If it is okay with you to burn the flag as an expression of freedom of speech with no repercussion from the law, then why isn't it okay for someone to spray paint "frick you Harry Reid" on the front door to the halls of Congress as an act freedom of speech? You'd get your arse arrested in a New York second if you did that. Because you are defacing something that does not individually belong to you. Nothing would happen if you painted frick You Harry Reidi on your own house (apart from a fine if you live in one of those communities that controls what color the house is, etc). Nothing should happen to me if I burned the flag that belongs to me. Something should happen if I burned your flag or the flag at the library.

Depends on where you are burning the flag..burning things on public property or in public is generally illegal.

How dedicated to a cause can you be if you are willing to over look some perceived symbols of hate, and not others. Especially when the symbols are exactly the same. Seem mighty hypocritical to me. you either have a problem with the flag, or you're using a situation to gain attention for yourself.

I don't know, but maybe people still value the property of others.

Are you really unable to see why someone might refrain from stealing and then destroying someone else's property, even if they despise that property?

My opinion is that President-Elect Trump is entitled to his opinion.

All he did is state his opinion.

Politicians do it all the time.

All those frickers defacing property with BLM and Anti-Trump shite should be held accountable as well.

I don't get your argument. Stealing and vandalizing property is against the law, so obviously stealing a flag and vandalizing it is against the law.

Burning a flag you purchased has nothing to do with that.

Are we gonna start a game of everything stupid trump says he's trolling and everything that turns out to make sense he was actually serious about? Because I'm not playing that.

Lots of very patriotic people feel flag burning should be illegal.

They're allowing their emotions to cloud their judgement.

Sure didn't stop the little snowflakes during the election with the Trump signs.

Most people who do these kind of attention seeking things have no regard for other peoples property. The internet is full of videos proving this.
But yes, I know why they will NOT do it, and it has nothing to do with the law and everything to do with cause and effect.
