LSU will likely replace the men's basketball coach this year. Maineri is not a spring chicken and could retire in the next few years.

Based on his record so far, do you trust him moving forward?

No, he's a loser. Can't execute, can't close. He is a loser.

No. If anything positive came of the O hire its that if he fails we are looking at a full regime change starting at the top and trickling down

About as much as I'd trust myself to last longer than 9 seconds with Leanna Decker on top of me

Coach O was the right choice. You not getting it reflects more on you than it does on Alleva.

I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. And I shouldn't be throwing anything with my bad knee.

Let's see, do I trust a guy who botched the biggest coaching hire at LSU by not even conducting a search? That would be a hell no!

Preserving the top 5 recruiting class
Continuity
Keeping a staff that the majority of which is doing an excellent job
Coach O is a second to none recruiter

He was the obvious choice all along.

No.

You could write a book entitled "How NOT To Negotiate" based solely on his handling of this whole situation.
