If Orgeron is a failure after 2 seasons, I purpose a purge of the top brass.

A) Hope the state gets its act together so the "season of austerity" nonsense goes away.

B) If O falters, Alleva is toast.

C) Even if O succeeds, Alleva might get purged because every other program is in terrible shape right now.

Why wait on something you know is going to happen. Purge them now for fricking this hire up sooooo badly.

Even if O turns out moderately successful, this hire was fricked from the jump and shows that they have absolutely no clue what they're doing.

If he flops, which is highly likely, the entire athletic department will require a complete overhaul.

Im afraid it's going to take longer than that to get them out.

This has the feel to it like when a NFL GM/HC draft a 1st round bust and they keep giving him shot after shot hoping that he proves them right, when you know he never will.

They are tied to this coach and they will wait as long as they can hoping he will succeed so that they won't look like idiots.

If he ends up being a huge success at LSU, can we purge this board of all you chicken little frickers? Permabans?

Alleva has botched 4 major coaching moves. Caldwell, jj, failing to fire Miles in 2015, and now doing no diligence in hiring Oregeron. During that time he let Miles retain noticeably ineffective assistants, particularly on offense. I'm leaving out Trent Johnson even though he was another failure, he looked like a good hire at the time.

But, hey, gymnastics is doing better.

I hope the O hire works out well. I want LSU to be successful in sports and everything else. But think about these coaching moves and consider if you want him replacing the baseball coach next.

He was a problem at Duke and he is a problem here.

I'm surprised TAF hasn't revolted.
