Up or Down vote. He's conducting the search for our new football coach after a below average handling of replacing Miles last year. He's been our AD since 2008 after being the AD at Duke. What's your vote?

This is yet to be determined, based on how the football head coaching position is filled. Also, we should keep a close eye on what happens with the basketball team.

I'm actually still shocked that y'all hired him in the wake of his bungling of the Duke Lacrosse scandal.

2008 was a shitty year on most ever level, and like 2016, I personally think we need to MLSUGA, and get rid of Aleva. He handled LM horribly last year and this, and doesn't seem to be handling the coaching search that much better.

Alleva has done a pretty solid job this football season. Acted swiftly with Les, swung a big dick with the whole Florida debacle, and he's done a good job of keeping the search behind closed doors so far. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he gets his guy.

If not, burn him at the stake

I'm pretty sure alleva understands the magnitude of his current role and job duties.
I refuse to believe he fricks it up.

This one is easy. Downvote.

The question should be reversed, does anyone have any confidence in Joe Alleva?

If he fires Johnny Jones, I'll give him a pass on whatever happens this weekend.

When your only main claim to fame is selling out Duke team & screwing the Miles situation, you don't deserve to represent LSU -period!

I'm very unhappy with the current leadership at LSU. I feel as though they have gotten a number of things wrong.

I imagine Bama, Auburn, Arkie and Ole Miss are praying JAckass stays at LSU.

If you have a problem with Alleva, you really need to state your evidence/facts. I feel most people that have a problem with him are just regurgitating what others feel or have said....None of these people have any evidence what so ever that Alleva has done something wrong. Joe answers to TAF, BOS, Pres of LSU....he has no ability to make all decisions on his own.

I blame any screw ups on the people he answers to. I am behind Alleva until I see evidence he screwed up on something. You may not like him and that's fine. If you think he's a failure, you need to state your evidence....not just opinions and speculation.

Joe Alleva has done nothing to improve LSU athletics (period). In my opinion; he should have been fired, along with Les Miles, Last Year.

With respect to his football coach search; he's had two months to produce (make progress), yet, at the end of the day, he finds himself scrambling/wanting.

I have zero confidence in Joe Alleva's ability to position LSU for success.

Down Seems like we are trying to hire a coach, Herman, that will come to LSU if Texas doesn't want him

Good job overall this year. Miles was awful. Trying to lure in the two major players. If Jimbo and Herman don't want to come, they are too dumb to be here anyway.

And how about the way he owned that ahole jeremy foley. Atta boy joe
