I think little Nicky will go after coach O if he don't get the HC job. It will be a win, win for him. He gets a coach and recruiter that will get 70% of the top talent out of Louisiana.

No. He didnt do that at lsu.

I hope we retain Coach O but we recruited without him just fine. Also, ive been told lsu recruits itself.

Coach O is an amazing recruiter and dline coach

Why would O go work like a slave for Saban?

He wants to be a HC, not a puppet.

70%? So Bama is only recruiting Louisiana? 25 schollies and I guess 20 every year from Louisiana?

Some of you are such alarmists that it is laughable.

I'm more worried about losing Aranda than anyone else.

we don't have a full time opening right now and i don't think anybody would trade our OL combo of Brent Key and Mario Cristobal. If we brought him in to simply recruit that would be alright but we've been doing fine anyway and Cristobal would have to leave and we would do anything to keep Mario and his connections to Florida. I can't see a scenario, unless Key or Cristobal leave, where we would look that direction and even then it would be a lesser spot on the staff. We're pretty good right now. Sark is a consultant being paid as a grad asst. I believe. Consultant might be a spot but he'll probably get a gig somewhere if LSU passes him over. Not a big job but somewhere like a ULL or Cincy.

Bama only gets 25 scholarships a year and they already get anyone they want. Wouldn't matter at all. If he wants to leave LSU for Bama, then by all means go ahead.

You people are overrating the hell out of Coach O's recruiting the same way you did Miles's.

LSU is the only power 5 school in a talent rich state
LSU had recently been a successful football program (win/loss record)
LSU sends a ton of kids to the NFL
Peveto has done a lot of work in the recruiting game himself

I promise you there won't be a drop off in recruiting if LSU gets Jimbo or Herman. In addition to Louisiana, they will keep our pipelines in Texas and/or Florida way more open than ever before.

But according to our fanbase he "loves" LSU and Louisiana. So there's no way he would betray us.

CEO is gonna flip that scrpt on Nick and drag Lane to Red Stick when he gets the HC job. They are besties and work bro's.

It would be his home run hire to solidify the recruiting class, etc.
