By "tweak" he means to keep pre-existing conditions and kids will be able to stay on their parents plans until 26. Everything else is gonna go, most importantly the mandate/tax that forces an American citizen to purchase something.

There's already a wall in places. Trump will add more wall. And virtual walls and increased border patrols/electronic surveillance measures in areas where a physical wall is impractical.

AND, he will send folks we catch back, instead of welcoming them with open arms, handing them bottled water, giving them directions to the nearest sanctuary city and a voter registration card with "DEMOCRAT" already checked.

So, you're technically somewhat correct, but mostly incorrect.

Obamacare is a series of things. You can keep some, and toss some. It's not all or nothing. He could call the new thing Trumpcare

Trump will end Obama's legacy by crushing Obama Care. No doubt in my mind that he will 100% do it.

Then your gonna be very upset the next 4yrs. The border with Mexico is close to 2000 miles long. The walls currently built are just over a 1/4 of that total.

Mexico isn't gonna pay for it, so I dont see this glorious wall he promised you fellas being built any time soon anywhere close to 2000 miles.

Just admit it....you got swindled

I am sure there is elements that he is going to keep. Seriously, he is not in office yet. Wait until January 21, 2017 because I don't think he will do anything about it until then.

You all had 6 years to find one. Nothing of value to offer. Thats why Trump is trying to pivot to just tinkering with it.

It is going to be very interesting to watch your party's chickens come home to roost after this 6 year vilification of your own idea because your party backed themselves into a corner because they only looked to the short term political gains of vilifying anything Obama put forward.

They have you all believing this is the worst thing ever. If they repeal and nothing else, you will immediately have 20 million pissed enemies that will be driven to the polls. You will then own healthcare. It will be your anchor. And guess what? America's system isn't exactly pretty under Obamacare, but it was even worse before.

If they do what Trump is hinting at, which is either just tinkering with the shite they could of done before Trump, or just an an immediate repeal and replace which is going to be an almost identical bill with some pet kickbacks and reforms like Paul Ryan's obamacaring/voucherism of Medicare, you all will either get super pissed or expose yourself as lemmings. To which either way your party will get roasted and vilified from every angle for such frickery.

Those 20 million people will....Or are Republicans already ignoring the very thing their opposition did, the economically ignored, burdened and motivated voter that led to this outcome.

....But given Trump seems to be pivoting to just tinkering it. Either by just directly doing it, or doing an unnecessary workaround of repeal and replace with a near identically structured system to try and pull one over on you people that swallowed their bullshite for 6 years, that point may be nothing more then a thought exercise.

Such a stupid decision. The pre existing mandate is the dumbest shite of the whole retarded debacle. That's not insurance. That's subsidized health care.

I haven't said much about this but there is way too much knee jerk ignorance about socialism.

It is "socialism" to build schools, roads, air traffic control radar nets, lots of things. Anything people do together is socialism.

Back in the 1930's, lots of "socialist" programs were passed: The 40 hour work week, time and half for over time pay, laws prohibiting child labor in the work place, oh yeah, and the cleverly titled "Social Security."

I hope no one wants to do away with THOSE laws.

Not wanting to have better healthcare because it is 'socialism' is screaming crazy ignorant nuts.

Now socialism in the Soviet Union had the government telling factories how many cars to build or how many pairs of blue jeans to make. The government set the price of bread. Of course this Socialist Paradise collapsed as soon as we went them 2 VCR's and 3 tapes.

Obamacare would work if it had as much money thrown at is as we do relocating Syrian refugees or blowing up innocent people up with drone strikes, or funding military missions in 130 different countries.

In Great Britain and all the other developed nations they have socialized medical care provided by the government. The Brits have had it since the 1940's. It must work or they wouldn't have it.

To say that our government cannot run such a program keeps ignorant people stuck with expensive inadequate healthcare.

In fact, it is unpatriotic to say the government cannot run a big program like that. As has been pointed out, the government has NEVER delivered a social security check late.

The wall is projected to start in March 2017, will be 35-50 feet tall, and will be paid for by increased fees for visas and border crossing cards, enforcement of trade tariffs and taxes on remittances.

That is exactly what we need and it is well within legitimate government powers to make it happen.

Abraham Lincoln:

"The legitimate object of government is to do for a community of people whatever they need to have done, but cannot do at all, or cannot so well do, for themselves, in their separate and individual capacities. In all that the people can individually do as well for themselves, government ought not to interfere. The desirable things which the individuals of a people cannot do, or cannot well do, for themselves, fall into two classes: those which have relation to wrongs, and those which have not. Each of these branches off into an infinite variety of subdivisions.

The first—that in relation to wrongs—embraces all crimes, misdemeanors, and non-performance of contracts. The other embraces all which, in its nature, and without wrong, requires combined action, as public roads and highways, public schools, charities, pauperism, orphanage, estates of the deceased, and the machinery of government itself."

LINK

The idea behind making young healthy people buy insurance is that the money will be there when they start to have conditions that require treatment.

We need to completely revamp the processes by which health care is provided in this country.

We need socialized healthcare. You can no more pay for a liver transplant than you can build a road to the grocery store or fund a new fighter plane.

I want them all gone. Every single one.

Wrong. Socialism is government control of the means of production. It only means one thing. Capitalism is the exact opposite.

The degree to which people coordinate abd cooperate is not a component of either definition.

Socialized Healthcare is inferior to market healthcare. It is also a total violation of the bill of rights and constitutional authority. As is virtually every regulation you cited earlier.

Wrong. It wont work. It can't work. The mechanisms involved are totally faulty. There are multiple books out now that describe in detail why it cannot work from both a practical economic perspective and social perspective. I recommend "The Primal prescription" by Dr. Doug Macguff and Robert P Murphy.

quote:

To say that our government cannot run such a program keeps ignorant people stuck with expensive inadequate healthcare.

Government involvement in our healthcare is the direct cause of its ridiculous and exorbitant price. In a market free of idiotic regulations, we would see better and far cheaper Healthcare than ever before. We should be so far ahead of where we are now, but instead its a stagnating market becoming accessible only to the relatively well to do. Thanks to 60 years of government intervention into what was a highly competitive market.

Now its just the same couple of companies lobbying uncle sugsr for new regs that push out competitors.

Nah. It's dumb and destroys the risk pools and drives EVERYONE'S PRICES UP. It's unavoidable.

They just won't buy insurance. Because it will be prohibitively expensive. Ask me how I know.

I can fund all of those things. That isn't even debatable. I funded Microsoft, coke, Hersheys, verizon, Samsung, sony, dell, toshiba, Lenovo, ranger boats, Shimano reels, glock, colt, and Nissan too. Just because you can't imagine how it would happen doesn't mean it wont. Of course it will. It already has. And it will again on that glorious day in which the socialists lose or die off from a lack of health care.

This is nothing but bullshite because the libs lost so they are looking for ways to discourage you.

Never has we had nightly riots because the election didn't go somebody's way.

Never have we had a president-elect accused of "breaking promises" two months before he even takes office.

Never have we had liberals as fricked up as they are now.
