But if Etling is considered to be a better QB(he certainly is) than Harris, then it stands to reason it would not have gone any better with Harris.
I do understand the "what's the worst that could happen" sentiment. If it were 21-0, maybe. But with a close game and we were down 1 possession late, I still would prefer Etling out there.

Truth is that both QBs missed open receivers in critical moments. Harris seems to throw too high. Etling was throwing behind receivers or to the ground on plays that could have gotten us easy first downs.

They can't. They won't. I mean it is not like the first time he missed wide open WRs. You cannot beat Bama in the pocket. Plain and Simple. The oline was just flat out horrible. For the life of me I don't understand why we didn't roll the pocket like bama did with Hurts, run option, do anything to stop the oline from getting man handled. Our WRs are better than their dbs we should have tried more spread I mean something.

If we had Fitzgerald, he would probably be on the sideline with BH, Scott, and McMillan. LSU has not recruited the right QB for the offense it wants to run and it has not run the offense for the QBs it has recruited.

This is true.
I just said Harris because he has the ability to escape pressure a little no in fact a lot more than DE.
We could have done more plays like read option. Bama would just rush the passer all night and Etling couldn't get away.

Why should anyone here have to prove the Danny Etling is a better qb than Brandon Harris?
Has he not done that with his play on the field since he took over?

My agenda? I'm posting facts you are posting opinions on both the QB's. So i'll take my stance over yours anyday.
I also said Nick Fitzgerald would be a better option vs Alabama than anyone on the roster currently( White QB).
