Blocking, tackling and catching would have won 2012, 2014 & 2016.

Well Clemson couldn't beat them.

they don't have close to the talent that bama does either, but they were able to move the ball pretty well on them in case you didn't notice

Just have to get a little better on offense. We let them off the hook again. Defense put us in good position to get points early and failed. QB play is still an issue.

This

Starts with better Oline, then need a difference maker under center.

We can and we will.
But my question to you is how will anybody beat Saban. And when you answer that question you'll have answered your question.

Easy. LSU hasn't had a true x's abd o's head coach since Saban left and yet they play Bama close every year. Bring in a real head coach and some of those close loses will turn into wins. That's why it's essential they don't settle for a popular pick like O. It's time to stop playing around and take it to them with a full complement of bullets.

A top notch OC, QB and Oline will get it done....let's hope the next HC can.

Hard to block multiple NFL caliber first rounders every year no matter what team is it. You have to counter act those aggressive d lineman. Until we build a smart offensive game plan we will never beat the man

Adapt, improvise, overcome. I feel ya. But other team still have beat them. It's because they can go over the top. We just need a passing game. LSU has the best athletes on defense they will see every year. LSU just needs to put together a complete team. That D last night for LSU looked incredible. Bama for the first time doesn't use a running back. Their QB, does it all. Very impressive for a freshman to run like that in the sec. like a small scam newton.

The facts are pretty simple, we might not. LSU needs to get a QB that is able to be proficient but also can run and we don't have that right now. Saban getting the top recruiting class in the nation 4 of the last 5 years says that no matter who is playing Bama it is going to be very difficult to beat them.

If you don't have Bama to win the NC this year, you are an idiot!

How are you supposed to compete with that?

More than likely, you cant.

But you have to spread those big fast fkers out and get them out of the box. Someone said the spread O...or some hybrid of that is the only way to beat them....this is probably true.

We may beat them a time or two on their weak years, but consistently, I agree with you. He's the best and we let him get away. We just have to deal with it.

If our defense was so much better than Bama's then why were they "stuck on the field for so long"?

you'll have an easier time trying to convince me that we'll score a single point in tuscaloosa next year.
