Stuck choke tube
So a padnah has an after market extended choke tube stuck in an a400 (ya I know subtle a400 plug). Its a wood stock w/ blued barrel model. Any suggestions other than penetrating oil then heating the barrel (gently) to loosen? Dont want to mess up the bluing etc
Thx

Bring it to a gunsmith.

Knocker loose from the receiver end down the barrel to the choke. for about 2 days, 4 or 5 times a day. then warm it up in the stove with ambient heat instead of direct heat from a torch or flame. This will keep from messing up the bluing. then put some Channel Lock 420's on it while the barrel is cloth wrapped in a vice and still hot. Should turn right out.

Kroil oil and a heat gun should get her done

Liquid wrench.
Don't use WD-40 it will just gum it all up and you won't be able to move it (been there done that)

If heat and some Kroil don't get it, then send it to Briley in Houston. They've done a couple stuck chokes for me and they can keep the factory threads. Also their prices are very reasonable when you consider you know 100% that they can get it out and save your barrel and factory threads

same issue with mine. Bring to gunsmith, they will heat and cool barrel. gunsmith did it without discoloring the barrel. make sure you put choke grease on all your other chokes.
