he's right to an extent. Watch mama's defense and watch ours. We do not play on the offensive side of the ball. Bama does. The more pressure on handoff's, passing, etc. the more turnovers you create.
We have a good defense. Not a great defense. We are missing strong N.G. play to get a push in the middle and free up one on one matches for the ends.

Mamas D gave up 522 yards and 43 points. I'll take LSUs performance over mamas.

Take away that final drive when we were just sitting back, and the Black Bears had 34 yards of offense in the second half. Against the best QB in the conference according to the experts. Stats do not lie.

Agree that was supposed to be the elusive purple and gold unicorn's role "TV", that he has just turned is looking more like a purple and gold turd. He was supposed to eat up double teams and push the line back, but he has decided to be a disruptive force to the coaches instead of the opposing teams offensive line!!!!

I agree. LSU has a really good D but the lack of a dominant NG prevents LSU from being great. Gilmore holds his own but doesn't demand double teams. TVs lack of development is frustrating because he could have made a big impact. however, if LSU doesn't give up big gains on first and second down and forces Bama to throw on 3rd down,LSU can pull off the upset
