Convincing wins against Mizzou, Southern Miss, and Ole Miss... Beats Bama... Is that enough to get hired now and start the spring board to recruiting and move forward?

No not at all. If he beats Bama and loses to Arkansas, Florida, and A&M to finish the season, no way he gets the nod over Jimbo or Herman.

This is getting predictably ridiculous. LSU has Bama. Florida, A&M, and Arkansas to go.

Otherwise known as the meat of the schedule.

False. Who in the hell would hire a coach based on 4 or 7 games in an interim season. You look at their entire body of work and hire the best coach for the future of LSU. In that scenario, O is in the B list of candidates.

Obviously false. There are a few more games on the schedule after Bama.

There will be no announcement of the new head coach until after the last regular season game

This is one big consiparisy. I'm actually 100% convinced of this.

all the other coaches in the SEC got together and said what is it going to take for lsu to actually frick around and hire coach O, while at the same time not ruining our current teams success

- Beat Ole Miss - Check
- Lose to bama, but keep it respectable
- Beat arkansas.. the REC will make sure arkansas beats miss state and mizzou and what's the difference 7 wins and 8 wins really in bowl selection? we're going to the independance bowl regardless.
- Beat florida. Tennessee is winning the east anyway it won't matter
- lose a close fraught game to LSU.

phase 2, someone from the outside comes in and shows legit interest in coach O prompting lsu to make a decision, they retain him.

mission accomplished.

at the end of the day, lsu won't realie that he really hasn't done shite that miles wouldn't have done had he still been here and now they got him locked in and the west is that much easier with yaw yaw running the head

False.

CEO beats Bama and he's still the #3 candidate after Chip Kelly, Tom Herman and Jimbo Fisher.

The difference is, LSU might not fight as hard for those three if CEO does a good job in the remaining games.

CEO needs to make the playoff. If he does that, he'll be rewarded.
