Not sure about the rest of you here but in my school there were maybe 10-15 students that were seniors who were eligible to vote.

Chauna Banks · 0:00 Morning High School Seniors...Make sure all your classmates age 18 or older are registered to vote. 85% of those eligible to vote are registers in EBR. Are you part of the 15% that are NOT registered?????

Did you go to a small high school?

I would say around 30-40% of high school kids these days are 18 by November of their senior year.

I turned 18 during my senior year and actually registered to vote in high school gym. I assumed most people turn 18 during their senior year.

What does this even mean? Is she talking about felons?

There are SOME barriers to entry to vote, but I would think they would only effect the extreme poor. Not sure what that number is supposed to mean.

They need to do away with this Motor Voter crap. You should still have to carry your a** down to the voter registrars office to enroll. If you can't put forth that effort, you don't deserve to vote.

You can register to vote at 17 in Louisiana. You can actually register at 16 if you go to the courthouse or the dmv
