Don't see anything wrong with that but obviously don't know price he's charging you. Jandy is what we use. I believe it's the best equipment available.
Look into the ozone/fusion system.
I will tell you that most people that build a sport pool (shallow, deeper in middle, then shallow again) tell me they regret it. Make sure that's what you want.
Are you doing any waterfall, water features, raised wall?

yes, doing lots of rocks and a waterfall.

all of that above is 51k quoted. no hot tub(didnt want one)

Thats interesting about the depth. i believe you, however its funny because ive asked everyone i can find who has a pool what they have and like/dislike, etc. ive interviewed about 12 people and all have at most a 6 foot deep pool and love it.

the one friend i have who bought an old house with an old school pool with a 10 foot end said he wishes it was shallower because they never go to the deep end.

my wife and kids are home all the time and she just wants to lay out and the kids all stay in the shallow end. i know that will change, but we want a pool to play basketball and volleyball in. none of us care about diving and jumping off a board or anything.

i thought most pools these days were around that size?

what do you think of the overall size? i was thinking that was too big?
