It is the most frustrating thing in the world! How did they guy get the job?
How do people like this rise to the ranks of the top ?

Who are the people that ever thought this would end well?

This type of hiring is not limited to football.

Have you at one point lead a team/company to the top in this country at any point in time.

You may not like his leadership style but Les Miles has been successful

One thing we all have to realize comparing a coach/politician to the work place is just not fair due to the fact in the workplace ever move you make is not visible to the general public and open to extreme scrutiny.

First off, I'd like to see someone who has as many young employees working directly underneath them.

And these teens and young adults have other obligations, and there is actually restrictions on how much you can work them.

This isn't an easy Job. And if you think Les is that bad, then what does it say about LSU hiring him?

A boss who continuously outperforms most of his peers? Get real, man. It might be time for Les to go, but he has as good a college track record as Sean Payton has in the NFL.

You sound as if you are satisfied with a nattie from 9 years ago and don't care that Miles is wasting most of the talent he recruits each year.

Do you sit around and talk about the good ol' days a lot?

I worked for a fool like GoodOleLess for about 3 days . Just about a year he ran the business in the ground, and it closed its doors.

You guys act like their aren't 100 other programs that are trying to do the same thing each year.

Hell, he played for a second one five years ago.

After that he had a rash of guy's leaving early. That really changes the dynamics of your team.

A boss who outperforms most of his competitors while showing loyalty and concern for his employees?

I have in the past, I do now, and it's great.

Of course coaching college football and managing people at a business are not really all that similar, so I don't know if these comparisons are are worth anything.

Miles has a lot of faults, but there's no arguing his players love him. Thats his greatest asset and keeps the talent rolling in. So i dont think he'd be a terrible boss or terrible to play for. Just needs to surround himself with good assistants and turn over the game day prep and playcalling to them.

According to Mike Detillier: "The great coaches will go the extra mile for their guy at QB, but they are never afraid to make a change during games." We all know Les would not try another quarterback during that game!

Why do you think those guys left early? I think they saw the futility of the situation. They knew 5 years ago that Les would not use his players to their full potential. When are you going to see that?
