Anyone else think the thumb over the shoulder to signal disqualification is hilarious? I've always thought it looked so goofy

that wasn't dirty, its a hard hit over the middle. I'm fine with targeting calls but ejecting players for making hard hits is silly. Eject them if its something insane.

Hit him in the chest.

I don't care if he led with his crown or not. It's a contact sport. If you can't take the hit and are worried about brain damage years from now, don't play the game.

it was pretty bang bang. His helmet hit him in the chest. it would be one thing if he launched into diarse way after the pick.

That was about as dirty as it can get. He went straight for his head

I thought he hit Diarse in the chest. I'm not sure what the rule for targeting says.

except it looked to me like he hit him square in the chest. It was pretty bang bang with the interception.

I prefer football back when chad jones could level a bitch without worry about a targeting. The big hard hits make the game better.

I think targeting is much more about the intent than the result. He was aiming too high. If he stays low and leads with his shoulder toward the middle of Diarse's body, it wouldn't be a foul

Chad Jones got a penalty for a hit exactly like that against Arkansas

You can still make big hard hits, you just can't aim for a player's head

we shouldn't be kicking guys for intent. I don't think people should be ejected unless its really something late or an ear hole type shot.

Diarse went up in the air and the db followed him and stuck him.

The ejections are debatable. It can make way too much of an impact on the game for a judgement call.

The penalty shouldn't be debated though

Yeah, I can see that

I'm fine with the ejection. It was uncalled for and vicious.

id be ok if they stopped with this stupid ejection shite. they are trigger happy with the flag for it as well. It shouldn't be intent since that is hard to judge. If the helmet hits the head and it wasn't because a player ducked into it then sure throw the flag. However far too many times the refs see a hard hit even one that should be legal and now toss the flag.

he shows up about three times a year to make a play.

I love some good les bashing, but people making him out as some sort of loss when he transferred was ridiculous.

What's with all this conservatism by SMU? The FG, the punt, running the clock out here

TCU could have the ball back with a TO and 1:30 on the clock. Don't know how that is worse than 2 with 46 seconds
