that school seems to get a lot of talent and plays in a lower conference. why would any coach want to leave?

Like Dana Dimel and Kim Helton?

And LOL at not seeing the advantages of coming to LSU.

What do you mean by win big?

Did Art Briles win big in his 10-4 best season?

Because LSU is a lot better destination than UH. A lot more talent to work with.

The SEC is known as the toughest conference in football. Especially the West. If Herman came in and beat Nicky and competed for national titles every year, he would he know as one of the greatest!

Houston isn't moving to the Big 12 anyway.

LSU and the SEC is much more appealing to a competitive coach. Plus he will get paid!

LSU will always have a presence in Houston but adding Houston to the Power 5 will increase the recruiting pressure. Now those kids can stay in the city and play big time football.

Then you still have to recruit against A&M and UT.

Stupid. They haven't like him.. plus they can't afford one loss like other conferences.. and no matter how good you are.. it's a ton of pressure especially for them to win every single game

And how many championships have they played for???

Btw, looking at winning percentages of the coaches there..

Levin .553
Sumlin .673
Briles .548
Dimel .235
Helton .314

Herman .929

So what's this every coach winning big you speak of?

who cares? quality of competition is alot lower than SEC. My mom is 83 years old and she'd have a winning record in that league!
