If I didn't pull that move, I wouldn't have been first chair. And I like being first chair.

It was a split second decision and it paid off.

My GoPro actually fell off on impact of that big air at the end. I landed it with a big impact, so I guess my knee hit the GoPro chesty mount and the clip popped out of the mount. We searched for like 5 minutes and right as we gave up, a guy I was skiing with found it in the snow.

Ahh, I guess I can respect that haha
Good stuff. A friend of mine arrived at Breck today...he's never skied before. I don't think he understands how lucky he is with this kind of powder!

I forgot you have to worry about what levels of the mountain are getting rain vs snow here My friends who chased snow in Tahoe the other week only got to ride one day due to wind and rain instead of nice, fluffy pow pow.

The epic storm I was expecting might be fricking rain on the mountain at Whistler. I also went cheap on my rental whip and Fox Rentals gave me a minivan with bald tires. I got stuck earlier in about an inch of snow/ice in Squamish. I'm going to have to try to hitch a ride to Elfin Lakes to do some touring tomorrow. There is a valuable lesson to be learned here; the grass is not always greener on the other side. Not happy but I'll be chasing the goods to Jackson the next time one hits there and getting on Corbett's
