Can somebody tell me how this works? I'm tired of being on hold with the insurance company

Did you have it before you flooded? If not you are screwed like I am. It comes as extra with the policy, $$$$.

Just finished my list. It's an absolute drag. They will want photo documentation of pretty much everything over $100. Be as specific as possible when you make your list and photograph everything. My wife and I even took pictures of all our clothes individually to be as thorough as possible. Over 2gb of pictures we ended up sending in.
