As great as the food is in Louisiana a lot of people have shite alcohol palates and love their Bud Light and Crown Royal. Though craft beer is growing very fast in LA but is way behind many other regions.

Leinenkugal is garbage. I will be hitting up fulton, surly, dangerous man, and inbounds while in Minneapolis. Then whatever is available in Wisconsin.

Decent, but for true craft beer fans that is not at all what I would suggest. I'd strongly suggest they check out this list and pluck a few off of it.

I personally am a huge fan of Central Waters and their barrel aged stuff (especially the Brewers Reserve Bourbon Barrel Barleywine and Brewer's Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout), and their Black Gold is incredibly rare and highly rated...aged in a barrel for four years.
I'd also suggest a couple of the Tyranena Brewer's Gone Wild options, and a New Glarus fruit beer or two.
