Anyone going to work tomorrow?

I will try to get to my office. If I cant, then I will work from home.

How can anyone go to work this week. Most people will be dealing with the total loss of their home and the cleanup

Can't get out of my neighborhood; Abbeville.

Definitely will be at work tomorrow and working plenty of hours this week. Pretty sure our vacuum trucks will be pumping water like crazy this week.

Got an email this morning saying that the corporate office was closed due to flooding so no one needs to come in.
ETA: our office isn't flooded but they realize that people are in tough spots and need to spend time taking care of their homes and families. Work can wait.

Between the people who have lost everything and those trying to help family members who lost everything, I would think most places in the areas that have been affected might have 50% of its workforce tomorrow.

Hoping I can get to the office. Been sitting around wstching everyone flood and not heing able to do anything. Hoping to get to work so we can actually do something to help some people.

Nope. Vacationing in Florida. Left Friday at 12 just as they were closing roads behind us. Wish I was there to help but also glad we got out just in time.

I'll be there. I'm currently at work now.

It'll be weird to go to work tomorrow knowing that an hour away people have lost everything, and it will be a normal Monday for me

I will probably return to work a week from tomorrow.

Yes, I can very safely get there and the owners and all their family (it's a family business) are all in Denham/Holden with water in their houses. The very least I can do is go in even if it's to reassure them the building is fine and answer phones.

I will be working in Donaldsonville. Going down LA-1 via downtown BR.
