Peat saint 1st round draft choice

Is Peat the worse 1st round draft in saints history or just the worse 1st round draft choice last year? Also who had the final say with this pick?

Don't give up on Peat yet. He's young, just 22 years old, and still needs work on technique like setting his hips low against the rush. His college coach David Shaw said that the day Peat was drafted. I didn't like the pick when it was made, but I do think he'll be a solid pro eventually. He just needs time.

The Saints should have picked Lael Collins in about the fourth round; this was a stupid mistake. I still have faith in Peat as a guard. He has to work on his technique.

Peat played all 4 positions except center. Every position needs different technique. Saints are lucky have multi position player. Once he settles at RT next year. He will great one for this team for next 10 years.

There are others but I don't have time. I hope Peat doesn't make this list but at minimum he should not have gone in the first round.
