I came in peace but a lot of that is garbage.

Not sorry. We're going to spank y'all.

Guice>Clement

Clement would be 3rd on the depth chart at LSU.

I totally agree he does have more overall talent, however is that talent, the ones he needs for this system? Like I said, the Wisconsin D was much different from year one vs. year three. There was a learning curve.

Your guys are talented no doubt about it! But, are they a talented unit yet? That remains to be seen. You can have the best players in the world but if you are having trouble picking up the scheme and communicating... you could have issues. That all I'm saying.

This is what I am worried about. This is the first game under a new defensive system. Also, LSU lost LaCouture, it's D play caller.

My guess is Aranda is going to keep the D very basic this game and slowly get more exotic with blitz packages as season progresses.

You contradict yourself. Wont Wisconsin be getting a new DC? Or do you have a clone of Aranda stashed somewhere. And you don't see that as an issue for your defense. It you do for LSU?

Yes a new DC, not a new system. We are staying in a 3-4 and like I said the system Wilcox runs are very similar to Aranda and the two have collaborated in the past. The language might change but scheme is not. LSU is changing its scheme from 4-3 to a 3-4. Language, gaps responsibilities and philosophy are all fundamentally different to learn. With the injuries, you have new players learning the roles.

The difference is our talent can overcome mistakes. Example would be a blown coverage, our speedy DB recovers and catches their WR. That's the edge talent gives you that can't be coached. We will be fine.

Didn't say he'd start, but he would get his carries. Hell, he had 900 yards backing up Melvin as a So. Come on... give in a little bit, LSU doesn't corner the market on stud players, other teams have some too.

Clement is a very good runningback man. But LF and Guice are the two best backs I've ever seen at LSU AND that's saying something. I know LF is. From the carries Guice has had, he looks likes an absolute superstar. LSU just got lucky and has 2 phenomenal backs on the same team. Clement would be 3rd string. Sorry to bust your bubble.

The truth is you guys are in for a rude awakening come opening kick off. This game will be the first win of many in an impressive season for the Tigers. Front 7 on D is returning to the quality it was when we went to the national championship in 2013. Secondary is stacked. U guys will be lucky to score 14 points in the game.

2013? Didn't you go 10-3 that year?

Record: 10-3, .769 W-L% (17th of 125) ? Rank: 14th in Final AP Poll
Conference: SEC (West Division) ? Conference Record: 5-3

UW fans hear the speed card every single game leading into every SEC or Pac12 opponent. Fans. ESPN. Never gets old. I'm the only one that remembers Love outrunning the entire LSU defense in '14? That never should have happened according to every SEC fan or ESPN analyst ever. The blanket "all of our DBs are faster than any of your WRs" statement, or vice versa, is garbage. That's like saying our OLine are huge farm boys so your front seven has no chance. It's just not good analysis. I won't argue that LSU has more or deeper talent or that LSU should win this game, but I'm so sick of the speed versus size argument.

I never said your WR can't outrun our DB...did I? I'm talking about talent covering mistakes at every position. It may be a LB covering a mistake by a DB or vise versa. Do you have reading issues?

LSU will have 5-6 big plays and will score at least 45 pts. You have zero chance, brah.

Any other year I might say you have a decent shot bro. However, this team has more talent than our 2011 team that went 13-0.Plus there is a big difference in mentality this year. It's a team full of violent savages on the field with several who gave up big money in the NFL to come back to win a NC. This team is going to hurt teams.

LSU isn't scoring 45 points on the road against a team with a pulse. Only way that happens is if defensive or ST scores.

I get that this LSU team is better than the 2014 version but Wisconsin proved they wouldnt lay down. LSU won that game because of Wisconsin injuries.

This is a road game for LSU. I expect a knock down drag out type game. LSU wins as long as they avoid big mistakes.

Good analysis... might happen, however UW rarely gives up many big plays. You might win, but I feel it'll be more of a grind it out type game. Besides, if Bama didn't stick 45 on us last year, I feel pretty confident you won't either.

Boy that sounds a lot like the garbage in 2014 when you all stated before the game that LF7 was the best player on the field, I think Melvin proved you wrong.

Corey Clement was no where near 100% last season, but he is an absolute beast.

Clement is a dime a dozen like Ball or White. These guys look good behind UW's line but they are not special.

LSU, meanwhile, has not one but two special RBs named Fournette and Guice. By the end of the game, you will understand.
