I agree. And those will come. Based on the facts we have now, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the guy who was shot, as well as his buddies, weren't on their way to productive lifestyles.

False. If that were the case, then you could make that claim about every single individual who open or conceal carries, allowing you to shoot them because they are an "immediate threat not fully knowing their intentions".

Apply laws fairly to all groups, please.

Exactly. This is sick. That dude murdered that kid.

he facts as we know them are the dead guy and his buddies(likely all on their way back to college), were brandishing a firearm and shouting profanities. At 1 am. When confronted by a resident, they refused to leave.

None of these are facts. They are all what the guy who killed this kid offered as his justification.

No these are not the facts as we know it. The shooter said they were brandishing guns. He did not say the victim was brandishing a gun. He did not say the victim was shouting profanities. It did not state that they were leaving or not leaving.

Maybe maybe not. I am going to go out on a limb and say that the man who killed another man was not on his way to a productive lifeStyle. See George Zimmerman

Easy there. He had a bit of personal use weed according to his buddy. That's equivalent to a 15 year old having a six pack of Bud in my eyes. Let's not paint the guy as Pablo Escobar here.

Youre ignoring context to fit your argument.

If the shooter is found guilty, his life in prison will still have more value than that of the thug he shot. This will undoubtedly trigger the hell out of you. Mainly because it's true and you know it.

What exactly do you contribute to society? I'm willing to bet you don't have a college degree, aren't a good person, and make the world a worse place with your presence.

So we're believing his buddies testimony and not that of the shooter?

You could easily argue the wrongful prosecution, both judicially and in the public arena, ruined that man.

Start another thread about GZ if you want to discuss how the media ruined this guy's life. Even if he is a POS.

Which makes them the facts of the case as we know them presently because there is no evidence to the contrary.

It's blatant racism. Really I'm not one to cry racism over nothing. I think that culture of excuses is just as bull shite as the next guy. That guy is pretty plainly saying that he thinks ****s' lives are worth less than white people's lives. And you know it's a fact because all we really know about both people is one is black, and the other is white.

The amount of blatant racism that is sometimes expressed around here is disgusting.

You're really reaching here. I'm taking it to mean he thinks the guy trying to protect his neighbors and family is worth more than the POS he killed. I agree with him there.

As wrong (legally) as the shooting may be, I don't personally have the slightest problem with it.

The youngest of three sons, he attended Wake and Franklin County public schools. He was convicted of misdemeanor shoplifting and assault charges when he was 16, and that same year got his first job at a McDonald’s in Louisburg.

He worked there until 2014, when he started working at a Waffle House. He had been working at a North Raleigh McDonald’s since May. His work apron, name badge and hat sat atop a coffee table at the family home Monday. He had been looking forward to helping his girlfriend, Amani Rainey, 19, move into her dormitory at East Carolina University, where she will begin her first year of college this month.

Considering the fact that the friend volunteered that info and the shooter has zero idea of what the guy was or wasn't doing then, yes, I am going to give the friends statement some credibility. Why would he say that if it wasn't true?
