In Houston, more whites and hispanics are killed by police than black people...

I thought this was an interesting fact I learned today. I wonder what these stats are in other cities. Is this type of data readily available online?

Considering there are probably a lot more Hispanics than blacks in Houston, I'm not surprised. How about Atlanta, where there are few Hispanics?

More whites are killed by police in every state. Over half of all victims are white. Approximately a quarter are black (statistically higher than the representation among the entire population).
ETA - I'm a little bit surprised that more whites are killed in the city of Houston.

Department of Justice statistics from 2012/13. When a violent crime, not including murder, involves blacks and whites blacks are the aggressor 84.6 percent of the time.

Pointless stat. More whites are on welfare than blacks and whites commit a majority of the murders in this country, but we all know that percentage wise, black people are going to be on the losing side of that argument.
Not saying that racist white cops murdering innocent blacks is a huge problem (the Minnesota case looks to be the only really bad case in recent memory), but I don't think your stat really means anything.

I am puzzled that certain groups get to cause disruptions throughout major cities, Riot and are allowed to do such when cops have killed more non-blacks
then this group
. I agree that Police need to have better education /training but that goes in dealing with all groups not just one group. If anything this finally puts the focus on Cops that feel they can get away with anything such as murder whether it be black,white, brown or whatever.

More cops are killed in line of duty in usa than rest of industrial world combined
