the people who created the "titles" argument are why these teams form

i'm thinking of writing an article on that

you reap what you sow, irrational-emotional thinkers

you want to promote the irrationality of using team stats to define players' careers? well then players will adapt to that paradigm to increase their shot at a title. you don't get to have it both ways

At the end of the day, those guys he's whining about will have championships and he and the guys he's talking about don't.

That's what history will remember, so I don't get what he's rambling about.

They may not have left their teams, but I bet they would more than willing to bring in other superstars to their team if the opportunity was there.

If David Robinson were a FA in the 90s and weighed his options, Stockton and Malone would be leading a parade for the Admiral to join them.

Absolutely true. Lebron going to MIA made it OK for guys to team up and shirk the call to all time greatness that could come with leading a non super friend team to titles.

I know it was late in his career and an obvious ring-chasing move, but Karl Malone did play with "some of those other guys" to try and win a championship
