And that may well be true and a legitimate concern but discouraging false accusations in the strongest manner possible is the justice system's duty as well.

From her FB page......Nikki azlin bitch u anit shite hoe frick u count. I didnt do nun but protect tht lil girl frm her father. I didnt file no reports r nun bc i could never prove he had dne it. His wife is doing this as revenge bc she had to spend 5 months in jail. So she is tryin to get back at me. Ive spoke with bossier detives all they wnt is to look at my phone an make sure there r no pics. So frick all yall dum asses

I have to disagree. The man's criminal punishment is only part of the equation. He would have lost his job & his family. The wife would have lost her husband. The daughter has already been subjected to "unnecessary testing". She would have lost a father. The babysitter deserves much worse.

That's what I was going to say.
Goodness, that's as bad as I have ever seen. I head the outside benevolence committee at my church. We regularly get the unfortunate looking for a handout, or help getting through of a crisis.
A couple years ago, a single mother came to our church in dire need. She had been fired from her job because she couldn't afford daycare. We asked her for her expenses, and her daycare expenses were $300/month MORE than my child's Catholic preschool. She had been paying someone like this to come into her home.
I pointed out that there were cheaper daycare options available and I would be happy to help her explore them - which she responded that her child needed 1-on-1 care and that "she aint going to no daycare with a bunch of kids."
We gave her a gift card for groceries.
