Lakers - Would they trade Randle for Okafor, and if so what could we flip Randle for, or do you just push AD to center in that situation?
Honestly, Randle/AD could be a hell of a "new NBA" front court. You could at least use Asik in spurts for big lineups (he is not that expensive), but keep AD and Randle as your starters/crunch time lineup.
I highly doubt Dell can make that happen, though.

Do you think Bradley/16/23 is something they'd consider for the #6? Because the more I think about it the more I like it.

I think Bradley 16 23 is a great offer and Bradley is better offensively then you think the Celtics team went to shite when he went down in the playoffs

Considering most feel Jrue comes up a bit short of our ideal Lead Guard, this does pose a problem in that area, but Buddy wasn't going to solve that problem either.
One of if not both of Valentine and Prince should be available at 16. Both can play this year and I'd expect both to end up being high quality rotation players for their careers. Then with 23 you should be able to draft a young guy that is future starter material at either PG or C.

It's not terrible, considering Bradley is probably about as good as what we could expect from Hield/Murray/Dunn in 2 or 3 years, but you can't expect to get anything worth a crap with the 16th and 23rd pick. Getting 1 good role player out of those two would be best case.
And Bradley isn't a PG, and is too short to be a SG, but i feel confident in Jrue guarding opposing SG's.
I think if Hield or Dunn is there i'd rather take the chance on them becoming great, rather than getting Bradley, who we know won't be great but will be good, and a crap shoot at 16 and 23.
I know that if you hit on one of the 16/23 picks and get a starter out of it, that would be great, but Bradley has only 2 years left on his contract, and will want more money, and like I said, he isn't a PG to replace Jrue if we don't resign him. Been in the league for 6 years, best year he averaged 2.1apg.
History tells us we have about a 30% chance of getting a star with the 6th pick, and a 30% of getting a solid starter. so 60% chance of getting at least a solid starter with that pick, which we know Bradley already is.
at 16/23, there's about a 5% chance of getting a star, and a 20% chance of getting a solid starter.
I wouldn't be upset with that trade, but i think i'd rather take the risk of the draft and hope Dunn or Hield becomes a star.
I'd prefer to keep the 6th pick, if we really think that pick has true potential to become a star, and find a way to trade into the 1st round, although that may be far fetched.

None of these guys have played an NBA minute, that's true, but I think we have a lot of evidence that says both Valentine and Prince project to be 20-25 MPG rotation players at least. Then at 23 there are a few 19 year old Eastern Euro 7 footers (like Jokic/Nurkic) that have a lot of potential. You never want to take a single draft report on a euro as gospel, but the profile on Draft Express makes Zizic sound pretty damn exciting. He likes to run, is physical, plays above the rim, and has good hands and touch around the basket. If you could draft a Jared Dudley level wing and a Nurkic level center in addition to Bradley why wouldn't you do that?
I know you really believe in Buddy, but what if he were off the board? Most people seem to like only 2 of our 3 guard choices, so #3 on your list is the only one left on the table, and you don't like him much. Do you still play the odds that past draft data tells you about, even though the guy left on the board is one you don't believe will become one, or do you trade back?

I don't want to trade the #6 pick unless its a star...
But Bradley/16/23 isn't a bad deal.

Bradley has 2 years left on his contract, and is going to want big money. He's already said he's very unhappy with his contract right now.
I would love to get a Jokic/Nurkic/Vucevic type player in this draft. If that's Zizic, that would be great.
Valentine/Prince, like Hield/Dunn, will take 2-3 years to be true contributors on any team.
I like the trade b/c it add's 3 assests, but 2 of those are risks. What if we get Brackins/QPon. Then this trade sucked. What if we get Nurkik/Rodney Hood. Then it would be an awesome trade.
I like trade proposals that give us more assets, like this one, as opposed to the Jrue trade, where we lost an asset.
I just want to find a superstar in the draft, which i know is a big crapshoot, but we need it. Heild and Dunn have that potential. If they are there, I want them. If they aren't, i'd be happy with this trade.
Alot of mocks have Hield and Dunn being available when we pick. If that's the case, it's be awesome if we could get Denver's pick and get Dunn as well. But i doubt a Jrue for the 7th pick is something they'd go for.

Most Dell trades have seen us giving up 2 assets for 1, at least.

Chad Ford's description of Jahlil Okafor's trade value has to be a little disheartening for Sixers fans to hear. Ford hopped on with 97.5 The Fanatic's Joe DeCamara this afternoon, and for those hoping to get the Celtics No. 3 pick and more for the young center, you might have to reevaluate:
I think that the Sixers and I both believed that the most valuable asset they had other than the No. 1 pick was [Jahlil] Okafor. I think that now, several weeks of gauging that interest around the league has led them to the conclusion that he might not be as valuable as they once thought. I think they went into the process asking the question, 'Would we trade for the No. 3 pick, or the No. 4 pick or the No. 5 pick for a guy like Okafor, would that be good value for us?' And I think they've walked out of that scenario saying, 'We don't think we can actually get that for Okafor right now.'
I think that's less an indictment on Okafor than it is a realization that center has become a little bit like a running back in the NFL... Especially the sort of player Okafor is, which is a back to the basket, below the rim, not particularly athletic, not going to stretch the floor, doesn't necessarily play defense big man. That just doesn't fit the schemes that most NBA coaches are after, including I think the 76ers. So I think there was a major miscalculation on the part of Sam Hinkie when he selected him at [three].
... [Nerlens] Noel might actually end up having more trade value because he does some things in the modern NBA, his ability to defend multiple positions, his shot-blocking, his ability to finish on the break, that make him perhaps a more attractive option right now. They're exploring that as well, but it's not easy to necessarily move either of those guys right now and get the sort of value that Philadelphia wants, which I think what they want is a top five or six pick in this draft, or a young point guard, or a young two guard that can really shoot the basketball to pair on the floor with Ben Simmons."

Ford is a hack. All of his trade proposals are overrating picks in this years draft. Think I heard him yesterday on russillo saying that Boston shouldn't want to move the 3rd pick for butler.
