People hate lebron not becuase of what he has or has not done but because of what he represents

Lebron Raymone James is microcosm of everything Americans hate about this generation. Lebron is basically the smoking hot girl in high school that everyone wanted to bone that also came from a well to do family. Born with genetics that literally rival Samson from the bible, he was born with a lead off third base and thinks that he hit a triple. He's been told he's the greatest and will be the greatest since he was in high school. Remember this is a kid that tried to enter the nba draft AS A JUNIOR. Because of his rare and unique gifts and becuase no one will ever tell him no, he thinks the world is easy and that he should be able to do everything.

He tells GMs how run teams, he tells coaches how to coach, he anoints himself "king james". Like the smoking hot rich high school girl who uses her parents money and connections to get into the best schools and tells the world she's going to be the next fortune 500 business owner, then goes to college and realizes for the first time she might not be smart enough to do the things she sets out, Lebron cherry picked his team, his teammates, set his own expectations on himself and massively failed to reach them.

Instead of getting better, instead of studying harder like everyone else around her, because nothing is ever her fault she blames the school. Everyone around her agrees with her happily to try to get in her pants. "it's not your fault D'wade is old as frick and Bosh looks like he just got off the set of Jurassic Park". She goes somewhere else and because hot girl always gets what she wants her parents happily oblige her requests. Lebron goes back to Cleveland to get more help. He doesn't fix his broke jumper it got worse. He doesn't fix his below superstar level free throw percentage. He doesn't become a team player and move to the stretch 4 position where he is best suited at this point in his career, he blames everyone else around him and leaves.

He then again, puts another team around him, making the team franchise the future to trade a player that doesn't fit his scheme whatsoever, of his own choosing. Still not taking any personal accountability. Still talking about making super teams with other players dissing his own players. Still doing stupid shite like deleting twitter accounts. Still talking with old teammates during half time of games people pay good hard earned money to watch you compete at your highest level. He just doesn't GET IT.

His jumper somehow has gotten massively worse than it was in Miami. And while the smoking hot girl is still hot and you'd still bang her , she's now 30 there are hotter girls than she is now and she's looking around and seeing what she set out to do and what she's actually done and while she's had some success becuase with all the support she's had in her life, it's hard not to, she hasn't come close to living up to the potential that everyone put on her and that she put on herself. Lebron James has been given, by God, by Nike, by Cleveland, by ESPN, by Miami, every possible resource to achieve what no other player in NBA history has ever achieved, and he's massively, unequivocally, failed.

By now he's so stuck in his ways and so used to getting what he wants he'd rather get pissy over Dray calling him a bitch (well damn bro he's not wrong lol) then buck the frick up and win a game down 2 in the 4th quarter.

People hate Lebron James because he's been blessed like no one on earth has ever been blessed, has failed, and takes no personal accountability for his own actions.

In a few years Lebron will be on plenty of fish making post looking for "a REAL man" that will take on her 100k in credit card debt and be literally ring chasing guys who can give her the life she never could strive to reach herself

People just need to enjoy him while he's still in the league. He's going to go down as the 2nd best player ever and people aren't even going to enjoy it bc they are to busy hating him because he's not MJ.

It's going to really suck for all the other superstars when he's gone too. They get a little criticism but the majority of all falls on Lebrons shoulders. When he's out of the league social media will need a new punching bag.

Newsflash. Every media outlet anointed him to be the greatest basketball player that ever lived while he was still in middle school. That puts every fan that loves MJ, Magic, Bird, Kareem, Wilt, Jerry West, etc on the defensive. We sit with our arms crossed saying "prove it". He has failed to do it so far. Successful career but not the GOAT.

I would consider being considered the second greatest of all time by age 31 living up to expectations.

He was the most hyped player EVER in any sport coming out of high school and he actually lived up to it. It amazes me. His numbers are off the charts over his career. Outside of rings, which I put very little value in anyway because they are team achievements, he is off the charts statistically.

This. Everyone feels the need to pick a side and those side are usually extremes. Either you love Lebron and think he will be the GOAT or you're against him and he'll never be

Then there's the few people with rational thoughts, but no one cares about those these days

Ring chasing is usually for older players who don't have one

Stats up to age 29, couldn't find an up to date one.

Here's also one comparing stats for the two before they won their first ring.

Supporting BLM is genuinely despicable but other that I agree.

It may be misguided, but if you think a youngish black man supporting BLM is "genuinely despicable" then you have your head firmly planted up your own arse. Probably even more so than the BLM freaks.

I just appreciate that he's a great player and let other people miss out by arguing over where he ranks all time.
