Then your only option is sell them for less then what it is on the card. If its $600 sell it for $500 cash.

You won't get cash back from a gift card. Otherwise ever drug dealer in the world would be doing it to launder their dirty money.

Money is fungible. My diverting $600 of spending from wherever you usually do it to Walmart, you will "convert" the WM GC money to cash if you don't overspend somewhere else.

You can sell a Walmart gift card online for over 90% of its value. You could probably get a little under $550 for it.
