How strictly enforced are the limitations on window tint where you have lived?

Once I roll down my window and they see Im white, they give me some candy and send my on my way

Not too bad, seems like it used to be worse in the early 2000s.

They had a period where they were "cracking down" on it. But it doesn't seem to matter now a days. They're more worried about bathrooms and getting paid $15/hour to do a job that my dog could do if you trained her.

No idea. I don't have tinted windows. I don't have to hide from anyone.

not too bad as long as it doesn't obscure the brake tag

Why not just follow the law like a decent white person?

Honestly, I think you are more likely to have trouble depending on which vehicle the tint is on, and how aggressive or how late are you out driving.

I had somewhat dark (still illegal) tint on a small car for years with no problem. Sold it to my younger brother and he had 2 tickets in the first month. I told him to stop running through stop signs and red lights at 2am.

Kenner, it's pretty strict I just keep "darkest legal" so I can pass. Our brake tag station runs a check on everyone's windows, when I was younger I would just peel the tint and retint every year. No longer do that, but do have to buy a windshield every year;

depends on how late at night it is and if they think you're driving drunk. Basically it's an excuse to pull you over.

Car inspection nazi's are more libel to make you pull off the tint than a cop in my experience.

You should accuse the cop of being a racist. "Is all crime "dark" to you sir?"

They'll give you a ticket if you are a little kid. Otherwise, I haven't had trouble with 10%

Depends.

If you drive an 85 Cutlass or Chrysler 300 then they will check your tint.

If its a Mercedes or GMC you are probably good.

Depends on the car and rims. I rolled in a Camry that had windows black as soot.

I've never been ticketed in Baton Rouge. One cop mentioned it during an inspection sticker checkpoint but didn't actually do anything about it. I have 20% on my Rubicon just to match the back windows. Nothing crazy.

I've had illegally tinted windows for 14 years on 3 different vehicles. Over that time I've lived in New Iberia, Baton Rouge, Houston and Lafayette and I've never gotten a ticket for tint.
