Do PG-13 or R movies attract the most unlikeable audience members?

I'd like movie goers to answer this. I'm more of a DVD guy due to my like of special features. I may go see one 2016 movie. The answers will help me make up my mind.

depends on the movie more than the rating.

If you want to avoid certain crowds go to late morning or early afternoon movies, likely have a row or two to yourself.

I go to movies a lot. According to my rewards card I went to 31 last year.

And it mainly depends on the movie and the day/time. But going to a theater isn't some huge ordeal your making it out to be

ETA: and there's nothing that can match seeing a great movie in the way it's supposed to look and sound on the big screen

Im guessing you mean trashiest. and I would say rating of the movie has zero to do with that. More like which theatre and movie you chose, demographics, and night/day you go. No way I go see Barbershop on a Saturday night. Not happening.

The worst movie experience I've had in a while was a 5 o clock Sunday showing of The Intern with a bunch of old farts who wouldn't shut the frick up. Just the luck of the draw.

My worst experiences are with films that draw in people that do not go to many movies.

If there are people in the theater that laugh out loud at the Geico commercial that plays before the trailers, you're in trouble.

I've never associated likeability of movie goers with the movie's rating. There are certain genres of movie that attract crowds I'd rather not share the movie experience with but the rating is usually irrelevant.
