I was going to make a similar post but didn't get around to it. I made my first run around the neighborhood and picked a couple weeks ago, then made a second run this week. First run I had twice as many, but all together I picked over 6 lbs. The first day I made a couple cobblers with fresh berries - one for me and one for my dad (both diabetics ). Should have taken a pic of the cobblers - but I've ever made! The rest of the berries are in the freezer - after rinsing, soaking, and drying, I spread them out on a large baking tray and freeze them individually, then bag them for the freezer. Have enough for another 3-4 cobblers.

I went back yesterday and got 1.5 gallons of berries. I am planning on making dumplings again and a cobbler. If anyone has a good cobbler recipe please post it.
