Let's start off by saying: yes, I am an extremely jelly Thunder fan.

But holy shite, the Warriors (who have the best player on the planet signed to a deal $4mil under the max already) lose said player yet almost for sure won't even be tested now while he heals due to CP3 going down.

Joe Lacob made one hell of a deal with the Devil, pun intended.

UPDATED: Griffin done too. KD, Westbrook, Kawhi, Aldridge better keep their heads on a swivel.

We don't know for sure how good the Warriors will be because they're playing the heartless Rockets right now. If the Blazers move on that could be a real series. Not to mention the Thunder or Spurs beating them with probably hobbled Steph.

They still have to play the Spurs/Thunder winner, and Steph may not be fully healed by then.

I was thinking this exactly when I saw the CP3 injury....the "minimal" diagnosis of 2 weeks then re-evaluated only meant for them to see where they are after 2 games in the conference semis without Curry. The Warriors are loving that the Clippers are getting pushed to 6-7 games now. Curry is likely out 4 weeks I believe, but if their back was against the wall he would come back as soon as he could. Best case scenario is playing out and he'll be back healthier than he would be against the Spurs in the Conference Finals, but don't think any of these little injuries are going away. They will linger the rest of the playoffs...

Still sticking with my prediction as soon as the Spurs signed Aldridge last July. Spurs in 6 over Cavs, Duncan/Ginobli retire

How do we even know the Spurs or Thunder will be fully healthy by the west finals? With all the dinosaurs on the Spurs one of them is due to fall victim to playoff intensity and physicality. Not to mention the Spurs playing on 1 days rest in the west finals is iffy

Thunder vs Cavs for the Ship. Durant wins it, approaches GOAT discussions.
