Also look at alternate airports as an option. They'll go pretty far out too. I've been able to get them to send me out of, for example, AUS when my IAH flight was delayed. Or PHL when a AVP flight was delayed.
Here's Delta's IROP assist number. They'll only help you if you are in transit and delayed: (855) 548-2505
Typically no wait at all for that number.

Good call on the IRROPs number, completely forgot about those. I don't think those numbers are usually staffed unless there's some kind of weather event so I'm usually hesitant to dial unless I know there are major issues around the US.
