She made this back in 1985. When I told her earlier that it my favorite painting she had done, she told me I could have it. I just thought I would share.

That's freaking beautiful.

A tiger in a cypress. I'd be skurred.

Very nice, how much you want for it?

Sorry man, it isn't for sale, I've been admiring this thing for years and wasn't even asking for it, but she just offered it and I couldn't refuse. It's something I'd like to keep to remember her, she's not exactly young anymore ya know? I just thought you guys might appreciate it.

I had a jacket with that on the back ; with ghost w/#20 over the corner of the stadium and all sec teams tombstones at the bottom. I sold it a few yrs ago

Dude, I was completely joking. It's a great piece and you are lucky to be able to one day pass it on to someone in your family. My grandmother sewed incredible quilts, and she gifted a few to me. Can't slap a price tag on some things. She got the Tiger right, nice painting.

i will give you $75 for it. I can have it tomorrow

I kinda thought you were joking, I'm not sure why I replied so seriously.

It honestly blows my mind when I see something like that painted. Like how the hell is that even possible?

I knew I had seen that painting somewhere

How old is that? I'm just asking because while she never implied that it was an original painting, I had never seen it any where else and assumed it was. Not that it bother's me that it's not, but now I'm curious about the origin of it. Like I said she painted it in 85, so the image is at least that old. She's been a prominent artist and married to an important member of the LSU community for decades, so now I really want to know more about it. I should ask her about it tomorrow if no one here knows, because she probably does.

I had to look for it online because I knew i had seen that picture before. I think its from the 80s. Maybe you have the original.
