Nobody chimes into a bumped 30 page thread and the OP doesn't sound like he wants A Patek Phillipe.

Citizen is fine I have one Eco-drive that I enjoy. Seiko? I only question that you can get an auto like the Eco Drive for $200 in a Seiko? You don't want to buy a "diver" that you are changing the battery on at a mall kiosk. Then trying to use it. Not saying you are Jacque Cousteau or anything. Jacque would have known better and had a SeaDweller or some shite like that. A $200 "diver" will only be good enough for swimming in a pool etc. and after a battery change that would be suspect.

Buy whatever you think looks good in that price range and in those 2 brands. With those you are getting the same watch essentially.

Here is one.

Here is another popular one skx007. It's a few bucks over what you are looking for.

BTW I googled these and know absolutely nothing about the islandwatch website as a retailer? New to me.

Are you just referring to the fact that an Eco Drive "automatically" charges itself? Because as I'm sure you know, it is a quartz movement. I had an Eco Drive and liked the way it looked, but it did break on me (dropped it from about waist high). Brought it to a jewelry store that sold them and they basically told me it probably wasn't worth trying to fix it. Only experience I have with them, so I could be a fluke. But I wish it would have been a little more robust (wasn't a very bad fall at all)
