Got shitfaced with Goodman at the N.O. Smith and Wollenskey before Katrina. Good guy. He did quit drinking, however.

Shot the shite with Samuel Jackson. Pretty cool guy.

Met Rose McGowan in NYC. At the time she was dating Marilyn Manson. He wandered off to talk to some dude, but she stuck around and was really friendly. Hot, too.

Mike Meyers is a dick.

Vince Vaughn is a very funny guy in real life and very cool.

Winona Ryder was very unassuming and a bit of wiseass (in a good way . . . funny).

My wife has some pretty good stories about celebs she's met through her work. She's received some nice "thank you notes".

i've heard the same on both often, which is crazy, because their stage persona would not lend itself to that thought.

Bryan Cranston is pretty universally liked and renowned as a legitimately nice, regular guy.

Ditto for Tom Hanks.

Both have been on the Nerdist podcast, and came off as great guys. Hanks has a very self-deprecating sense of humor.

My friend said Winona Ryder is still batshit crazy and a huge pain in the arse to work with.

The whole shoplifting thing would point to that...

She wAs pretty cool shooting pool in the Quarter. Of course, I may have been drunk and easily impressed.

Worst… BY FAR Ellen DeGeneres

Not only is she a fraud who exploits the kids that come on her show, but she also is a tyrant to her staff and screams and berates them constantly. She also beats her spouse. Portia DeRossi had said as much many times.

But the worst of all is a story I heard on Boston radio a year or two ago about a dying kid with cancer who's only wish was to meet Ellen, he was a super fan. The family, local charities and local radio people wrote letter after letter for months to no answer.

Finally, his family decided to go cross country to her studio and meet her. They got there and finally talked to a producer who said she Ellen would try to meet them but she gets a ton of requests so who knows. Then the family said all the kid wanted was to just go to a show, they didn't even have to meet her. Ellen completely stood them up and essentially dressed down the producer for bringing it up. The child later died without ever meeting her or getting in the show.

Damn. I don't want to believe this.

I met John Goodman at the Big Easy Music awards in the 90s. He was pretty approachable that night anyway.
Also, a friend of mine had a small part in a Clint Eastwood movie and spoke highly of him.

I asked a big commercial production designer once who was the nastiest/most difficult person and much to surprise it was Ellen D.

I've been in love with her since I was 18. I refuse to believe this.

My wife (no pictures) was a flight attendant for Delta based out of New York and has great stories.

Good folks: Usher, Ludacris, former U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman, former President Jimmy Carter, the dudes from Korn (they gave her a bag of weed as a thank you), Katie Holmes (she spent her flight writing thank you notes and getting blitzed on wine), Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale.

She met Trump when his private plane was having trouble and he needed to fly Delta to get back to New York. Said he was pretty quiet, not demanding.

Anderson Cooper is an arse hole. And Ashanti was really full of herself.

Patton Oswalt had a show in New Orleans back in January. Me and a friend were going to see him and happened to meet him on the street before the show.

He was super nice to us shook our hand and thanked us for going to see him later that night. When he came out and did his set I found out he was drunk as shite when we met him because he had been doing shots at Port O Call (mentioned it in his set and yeah he seemed off when we talked to him)

But if you can be nice to random people on the street after drinking heavily I'm sure you can be nice when sober.

From following The Rock on twitter, it seems like he is a genuinely good dude. I think out of all the people in Hollywood he is at the top of my list of people I would like to meet and have a beer with.

Him and Zack Effron are filming a Baywatch movie here in Savannah right now. By all accounts they are both really nice guys. I will be at the beach this Saturday where they are shooting so maybe I will run into him.

Not the biggest stars, but Walton Goggins and Michael Chiklis are both great guys. I'm glad to see Walton blow up lately, he's an tremendous talent.

I know everyone likes to hate on Bruce Springsteen these days, but my friend organized a party for him a year or two ago in New Orleans, and he was incredibly nice and gracious.

Doubt it. During the film shoot here at Memorial no adults were "allowed" to ask Johnson for a photo except high up execs

Nah. She's pretty genuine from all accounts. I don't know many that have worked with her lately but know a few that grew up with her and still keep in contact. Every holiday that she's "home" she visits Kosair Children's Hospital and recently donated a few million to establish a cardiac wing there.

J Law started out nice and had her "I'm so down to earth and anti-Hollywood/I'm a Kentucky girl who made it big" mentality, but she has turned into being a smug liberal Hollywood elite actress.

Bill Murray once punched Chevy Chase in the face behind the set of SNL in the 70s. Apparently Chase said something about Murray's face looking like something the Apollo astronauts would land on. Of course, that was back in Chase's days of being a huge coke fiend and an arsehat.

Tommy Lee Jones shot a movie in the town I grew up in. Everyone said he was super unpleasant and grumpy.
