That is the caliber of head coach LSU needs to hire.

A proven track record with good talent.

JJ wishes he was half the coach that guy is.

I understand that. I'm not saying hire him specifically. I'm saying hire someone of that caliber with a proven track record. Quality NCAA tournament wins and experience with the ability the attract talent.

I see your over reaction but there seem to be a number of quality coaches that make the tournament regularly with average talent that should be hireable.

I don't think that should or will play a role in whether or not a coach takes a job.

No he isnt.

ETA: Not saying he will flop, but coaches from these small schools flop every day of the week. Fact is, if you dont bring in talent, you probably wont win in a big conference no matter how good of a coach you.

Clearly I got his name incorrect but that has little to do with the fact that is a very good coach and an improvement from our current coach.

Alabama backed the Loomis truck up for him last year and he chose to stay. He ain't leaving unless for a power school

He makes more money at a better basketball program. That's why he didn't leave for Alabama.
