Dude, the sources jokes are hilarious.

I wish that Brookhaven guy would come back and give us some more poems. That is the only thing that kept my spirits up during my banishment.

Brookhaven's ode to Norm:

We love the coach whose name is Chow
Pearl Harbor bombs went pow pow pow
Your offense can't be covered by 11 Deions
We also love Civics whose bottoms glow neon

I dont post much on here, but I'll join this thread. If LSU has ANY chance at all to land Del Rio...You wait and do what it takes. He has been awesome at whatever position he has had in the NFL. He could coach here for 30 years and be absolutely legendary. Losing a couple of recruits because of "timing" is miniscule in the big picture.

Spurrier is an awesome coach and would be my second choice, but he probably has 10 years max left coaching. Saban is damaged goods and would have an even worse reputation if he were to come here after just 1 year at Bama - plus Saban is no young "spring chicken" himself (56 and aged alot in his 2 year stay in the NFL).

Bottom Line: LSU do whatevr it takes to get Del Rio...Do not screw it up...Do not be cheap...Do not let a couple BOS members/boosters play favorites. Make the right move - Hire JDR.
