If you have displaced from the University a few years I don't expect you to know what I'm talking about. As you know Sigma Chi was shut down until 2018 I believe, but their pledges were able to spring rush. They all went TKE, bold move in all honesty. TKE was small enough to take over and it's practically sigma chi now. What do y'all think about that? Good move or shitty on their part to take over a fraternity of guys who clearly aren't going to stand up for themselves...

good for them for not letting some junkie that they barely knew ruin their college experience. I hope they learned a lesson and have fun.

Didn't know about this. Gives a new meaning to the old saying if you can't go greek, go TKE.

Sounds like a win-win for everyone involved.

That's kind of awesome. Would be hilarious if they worked out some deal to rent the Sigma Chi house. And then just continue on as Sigma Chi, but "officially" be TKE. I'd get all my party shirts and everything with Sigma Chi and shite.

But then I'd feel bad for the 4 or 5 TKE weirdoes who just lost everything

True that, I've actually never met a TKE in my life

It's more pathetic that the fraternity got shut down in the first place

That's what I'm saying I feel bad for the actual TKE members...they are probably getting hazed by their pledges

The same way I did while I was in college. Bunch of frat stars spreading The Clap to one another through the same sluts, sounds like a rip-roaring good time!

I'm surprised that it doesn't happen more often. Especially at smaller colleges, you'll have frats that dwindle down to four or five core guys.

TKE's get a bad rap and I understand, but the guys that were there when I was there were good people. Had some great times in that house that I will never forget.

The new kids that came in from other schools and started running the show, on the other hand, not so much.

TKE has tried/offered this several times. I remember when my fraternity got kicked off the TKE's offered them the whole fraternity. Our pledge class would have made them 7x bigger.

I work with a few ex tke and they pretty cool. For the most part they are just somewhat shy/awkward kids from out of state that really sucked at rush. Which would have been me had I come to LSU not knowing anyone

I didn't "know" them when I was there, but visited the house while going through rush. There were some houses that you couldn't tell were that bad through rush, but ultimately you learned about. TKE wore it like a badge of honor. They were extremely strange. Not just non-Greek looking. They were like Lambda Lambda Lambda geeky. And there truly was like only 5 of them. No one in my Rush group looked remotely interested.
