Peyton was so petulant after losing the Super Bowl in 2010, but no one really called him out for it because he is football royalty.

Uh except that EVERY sports news outlet mentioned he didn't shake hands.

You are aware he personally went to the Saints locker room after the game to congratulate Drew, correct? He didn't want to take away from Drew's moment on the field.

the night the Saints won the Super Bowl one of the last things on my mind was if Peyton Manning congratulated Drew Brees.

I don't get why people find this kind of thing remotely interesting.

Probably because Peyton isn't having a commercial break worth of celebrations after every first down and on every interview telling everyone how good he is. Cam does not help the cause with the level he celebrates and Peyton stays pretty quiet as far as celebrations go. If you can celebrate the way Cam does then surely you can take a loss better than that.

I can't recall, did Peyton wear gold MVP cleats during the Super Bowl in 2010? The problem is that Newton rarely shows humility, which is why him melting down has been such a joy to watch.
